• Choć według oficjalnej strony Bruce Springsteena premiera płyty miała miejsce 11 września 1973 r., to bardziej prawdopodobną datą jest 5 listopada 1973 r. podana w encyklopedii „The Ties That Bind: Bruce Springsteen A to E to Z”. Listopadową wersję premiery płyty potwierdza też Dave Marsh w książce „Bruce Springsteen On Tour 1968 – 2005”. Marsh napisał, że choć trasa promująca płytę „The Wild, the Innocent, and the E Street Shuffle” rozpoczęła się 13 października (Einserhower Theather / Kennedy Center w Waszyngtonie), to albumu jeszcze nie było w sklepach - tak więc wiele wskazuje, że informacja o dacie premiery na stronie Bossa jest nieprecyzyjna.
